Fable of the Cow, the first Plowboy Press title, was printed on a laser printer. The first two printings, 50 copies total, were privately distributed. The subject of the poem, by Andrew Miller-Brown, is the future of the small dairy farm in America. The text is accompanied by a sequence of photographs describing the process of milking Jerseys with bucket milking machines and a dumping station on his family’s farm in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. Pamphlet stitched with pictorial wrappers.
